I’m running to be your next CUS Ombudsperson. This is what you can expect from me if elected.
Students deserve to know what the Ombudsperson does. I'm committed to- Ensuring students know what the Ombudsperson does.
- Ensuring students know how the CUS runs.
I believe in preventing problems before they appear. As Ombudsperson, this means advocating for:- Fairness in the CUS’s policies.
- Working with Sauder to ensure its policies are fairer for students.
- Increased collaboration with other student advocates to ensure matters that impact students can be addressed through bodies such as the Senate.
Having sat on the other side of the table in committee settings from admission appeals to budget oversight, I understand how institutional decisions get made and what it takes to make your voice heard within them. I'll use that perspective to guide students through their toughest moments with confidence and clarity.
